Volunteering with the Community Gardens of Tucson

Are you interested in sustainable food systems, gardening, or community development? There are many ways to volunteer your time at the Community Gardens of Tucson!

A range of volunteer opportunities are available:

  • Garden maintenance

  • Serve on the Board of Directors or on one our committees
  • Assistance with community outreach

 Garden Workdays & Group Activities

The Community Gardens welcomes groups and individuals to come garden during our regular Garden Workdays. We can also schedule team building activities for community organizations and corporate groups to help maintain and improve our community gardens!

 Long-term & Specialized Skills

We are always seeking committed volunteers who can offer their specialized skills in gardening, outreach, education, community building, and more.

We have numerous ways to apply your skills including serving on a committee or our Board of Directors as well as project specific interests. Reach out today to learn more about our needs or share your specialized skills.

Court-ordered Community Service

We work with individuals 18 years or older who need to fulfill court-ordered community service hours.
